Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial companies in space and the rise in space travel. Kristin is mother of NASA astronauts and an enthusiastic space lover was raised in the industry. She served for five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. Over the course of her tenure, she reported on the presidential 2020 campaign, the impeachment trial and two attempts to prevent the corona virus pandemic, and two other administrations' efforts. The extensive trips she took with the president and vice-president also included an official trip to Afghanistan, which she took along with Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the newsrooms of local markets like Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before becoming a part of the CBS network. She won one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin founded Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in 2014. The firm specialized on creating documentary films for corporate clients including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned a bachelors in Science of Journalism at Boston University. Kristin is married to her daughter, and her three-year-old in Washington, D.C.
